Snaque (snaque.com) offers the Snaque Playwall, a SaaS solution for publishers who want to expand their online offering for readers and their advertising inventory for advertisers. The core product is the Snaque Playwall, a paywall extension that enables readers of online media to read premium content without a subscription. Readers pay for individual articles through short interactions with brand content. But media outlets without paywalls also benefit from the Snaque Playwall when they add it to their inventory as a new, high-priced advertising format and place it in front of content for monetization. Snaque thus offers advertisers a new, powerful ad format in the exclusive advertising environment of quality media. Snaque GmbH, based in Berlin, was founded in 2021 by Katja Waldor and Henning Tillmann. The founding team is funded as part of the Media Founders Program, a joint funding program of the Medieninnovationszentrum Babelsberg (MIZ) and the MediaTech Hub Accelerator Babelsberg.
